Facebook is looking to hire a Data Center Security Design Manager as the subject matter expert in physical security design to ensure security requirements receive early and informed consideration and are integrated throughout planning, design, and construction. The selected individual will have a thorough knowledge of physical security concepts and principles.

Required Skills:

  1. Collaborate with security practitioners, architects, infrastructure engineers, business partners & other stakeholders to market and implement security solutions

  2. Assume the lead in the execution of services including studies and assessments, security planning, security design, and other security services

  3. Coordinate the design, planning, implementation, assessment, and management of access control systems, digital video surveillance systems, building security, building automation, and physical intrusion detection systems

  4. Support the review of new and/or existing building plans for security device/system placement and operability

  5. Must be able to travel locally and internationally

  6. Provide detailed, accurate and timely reports

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 5+ years of security operations experience

  2. 3+ years experience in a leadership role

  3. Experience in cross-functional relationships with non-security partners

  4. Experience in analyzing situations, making decisions and formulate action plans

  5. Knowledge of Physical Security design specifications and standards

  6. Experience working with security service providers

  7. Working knowledge of security software systems

  8. Working knowledge of video surveillance equipment

  9. Knowledge of Microsoft office tools

  10. Experience in creating and managing key performance indicators metrics

  11. Experience in working independently with little direction

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience working in a high security environment

  2. Demonstrated experience in the development of security procedures and processes

  3. Able to perform security risk assessments

  4. Corporate Security or Law Enforcement/Military background

  5. CPP, PSP, PMP certifications
