Summary:

The Associate Security Site Manager will report directly to the Facebook Security Site Manager, and will interact, provide guidance, and partner with the Facebook security contingent workforce. This position will work with the security contingent workforce and business partners to ensure established goals and objectives are accomplished with prescribed priorities, time limitations, and fiscal responsibility.

The Associate Security Site Manager is responsible for reducing risk, responding to incidents, and limiting exposure to liability within Global Security Services (GSS) operations. Under the guidance of the Security Site Manager, the Associate Security Site Manager will partner with peer group managers to develop, implement, and manage physical security, safety, special events, and investigations that align with Facebook’s culture, values, and policies.

Required Skills:

  3. Coach, mentor, and manage a team of direct reports.

  4. Design, develop, and implement physical security operations for Facebook facilities including post orders, standards, policies and procedures.

  5. Maintain close coordination, planning, and communication with the security workforce by disseminating GSS policy to their respect teams and documenting performance as required.

  6. Assists in the creation and implementation of security audits to identify areas of improvement, to include oversite of corrective measures.

  7. Provides to the Site Security Manager, reports related to issues such as internal investigations, policies and procedures, and other business impactful situations for management.

  8. Responsible for identifying areas of program improvement, expansions of service to business partners, customer service improvements, staffing efficiencies, and other innovative industry changes.

  9. In partnership with security contingent workforce, coordinates Facebook security functions, utilizing knowledge of established policies, procedures, and practices.

  10. Serves as project lead for security initiatives, and regular construction/expansion projects, ensuring completion within deadlines and within the of operational scope of standardized security functions.

  11. Maintain relationships with Federal, State, and local law enforcement and other government agencies in support of private-public partnership initiatives.

  12. Maintain awareness of situations within and surrounding Facebook campuses and facilities to evaluate and escalate as necessary.

  13. Assists in preparation and execution of security responsibilities as they relate to emergency response, safety audits, evacuation training, and contingency planning.

  14. Function as a directly responsible individual in the field, utilizing proper judgement, to solve problems and to make decisions that reduce and/or eliminate a negative impact on Facebook business.

  15. Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

  16. Able to be on call 24/7 and respond to emergencies or other calls.

  17. Available for rotating weekend coverage.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 3+ years of physical security experience.

  2. Management experience.

  3. Experience managing organizational goals.

  4. Experience managing multiple assignments.

  5. Experience with electronic video management systems.

  6. Experience with electronic access control systems.

  7. Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or other software applications.
