Summary:

The Global Security Investigations Manager, Anti-Fraud/Piracy leads and resolve internal and external local, regional and/or global investigations, including but not limited to Insider Threat, Threats Against People, Missing Persons/KRE, Property Crimes, Fraud/Piracy, Counterfeiting, Data Center Incidents and Supply Chain/IP Loss Incidents.

Enhance the Piracy program, including assisting with enhancing the program framework, policies, standards and procedures, technology, governance and overall reporting. Responsible for performing day-to-day case management and investigations, with the goal of predicting, detecting and responding to fraud of all kinds, including hardware/software piracy for Facebook's hardware verticals (Oculus, B8).

Act as a conduit between the business enterprise and the Global Security Intelligence and Investigations Team, creating and enabling the processes to ensure that all areas of the enterprise receive valuable and timely service. Demonstrate strong fraud investigations/piracy underpinning, as well as possessing sound judgment and the ability to prioritize tasks to ensure the best possible outcome in the finite time available.

Required Skills:

  1. Assist in the investigation of all incidents involving fraud/piracy.

  2. Initiate programs to reduce overall risk associated with fraud/piracy.

  3. Collaborate with business partners to identify and address trends, which can be mitigated against.

  4. Participates in investigations relating to red flags and deviations from acceptable use.

  5. Appropriately escalates risks associated with fraud/piracy.

  6. Partner with appropriate groups to establish framework to manage risk while reducing exposure.

  7. Support an environment of Protecting People, Assets and Reputation through incident prevention, intelligence sharing and incident resolution.

  8. Utilize non-violent intervention and investigative techniques when necessary to minimize the threat to the Facebook population.

  9. Leverage and partner with InfoSec to identify solutions for identifying, protecting and preventing fraud/piracy.

  10. Provide security-related metrics for executive-level dashboards and presentations.

  11. Drive a respectful team culture centered on open communication, sharing, listening and recognition of team members at all levels.

  12. Develop and maintain strong relationships with other business partners and leaders to effectively support their respective departments.

  13. Follow company procedures and processes as it relates to Global Security best practices, and handling of confidential information.

  14. Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines to mitigate legal risk.

  15. Appropriately leverage resources, technology, information and tactics in a manner that protects reputation and minimizes risk.

  16. Flexible work schedule, able to work days, evenings, weekend and holidays.

  17. Reports to Head of Global Investigations, Global Security Intelligence & Investigations.

  18. Develops and sustains a collaborative partnership with field and headquarter partners.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 8+ years of investigations work experience involving fraud/piracy investigations, technical investigations, intellectual property investigations, and/or financial fraud investigations.

  2. 5+ years of leadership experience.

  3. BA/BS in Business, Criminal Justice and/or technical field (or related experience).

  4. Experience and/or certification in computer forensics.

  5. Demonstrated experience in SQL and Python.

  6. Experience in completing multiple tasks.

  7. Experience influencing others while cultivating relationships with business partners.

  8. Analytical and problem-solving experience.
