The Facebook Connectivity (FBC) Finance team is responsible for two functions. We manage FBC's entire budget of revenue and expense. Successful candidates for this team have a bias toward action, have exceptional partnership and communication skills, and know how to balance getting the details right while still moving fast.

You will join a team that is working on connecting the next billion people to the internet. We evaluate go to market strategies for connectivity technologies, assessing investment deals with telecom and technology partners and execution of connectivity business models. You will gain invaluable experience in a position which offers significant responsibility and interaction with internal and external management as well as considerable opportunity to have a large impact within a growing Finance organization. Required Skills:

  1. Provide financial and analytical support to solve tough problems and influence executive decision making across the investment deal cycle (i.e.- development, structuring, financial close, and portfolio operational management)

  2. Building financial models for deal valuation and structuring in emerging markets

  3. Assist in product planning and monetization in relation to business case sustainability

  4. Lead investment deal discussions and due diligence

  5. Providing clear insight on investment strategies, technology trade-offs, and capital structure

  6. Managing operational and performance tracking post investment close

  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams - Tax, Accounting, IT, Operations, and Business Development to provide end-to-end financial support on investment transactions

  8. Provide in-depth research on emerging connectivity technologies, industry and cost metrics

  9. Lead key FP&A processes such as forecasting, budget, long-range planning and financial operations

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree

  2. 5+ years financial analysis experience

  3. Analytical and modeling experience

  4. Experience building Valuation, M&A, Debt and Equity transaction models

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. MBA, Masters degree, or CFA

  2. A top academic performer

  3. Experience in FP&A

  4. 5+ years of financial analysis experience from a leading technology, investment bank, private equity, consulting, Fortune 500 or high growth firm

  5. Technology/telecom infrastructure finance experience
