Facebook is seeking a Finance Manager to join its Data Center Infrastructure Finance team that helps to manage the finances for one of our largest investment areas - Facebook's data center portfolio. The Data Center group is responsible for designing, building and operating a growing fleet of advanced data centers that support more than one billion daily users. With an understanding of core drivers of technical infrastructure, you will be responsible for working closely with stakeholders across the data center group and with other Finance teams to successfully perform core FP&A duties, as well as more analytical work, with a view to supporting the smooth operation of the Data Center business and influencing their timely and well-informed decisions. In this role, you will need to be adaptable to rapid change and you will gain valuable experience supporting a fast-paced business area and that will provide opportunities to make an impact within a growing Finance organization.
Serve as finance partner to one or more areas of the Data Center business
Provide financial leadership across the full range of FP&A activities, including operational FP&A, financial control and planning (including quarterly forecasts, annual budget, and long-range plan)
Understand and define key financial drivers of the business in partnership with experts in the Data Center group
Continuously work to improve processes and enhance current tools/systems while maintaining a solid financial control environment
8+ years of finance-related experience
Experience working independently and experience finding and resolving issues with limited guidance
Experience building cross-functional relationships and partnering with multiple stakeholders
Experience in compiling business cases and/or internal approvals for investments
Presentation experience and experience translating data into information
Experience influencing stakeholders across all levels of an organization, both within and outside of a Finance organization
Advanced degree or certification such as MBA, CFA, CPA, or CMA
Experience working in the technology industry, especially within the large-scale data center infrastructure space
Deep technical and practical experience in one or more areas of the data center space, e.g. capital planning, construction cost controls, headcount planning, energy
Work experience in financial planning and analysis, investment banking and/or consulting
Advanced financial modeling skills
People management experience
