The Ads and Business Platform Programs team elevates the voice of the customer to create opportunities for businesses and people to connect. We achieve this mission through scaled programs and high touch engagements.
This role is focused on creating the scaled educational programs to help our monetization product builders (Design, Engineering, Product Management, Product Marketing, etc.). At Facebook, our product teams have a strong desire to better understand our customers. In this role you will develop and build on our popular educational programs to help them gain that understanding.
Continually refresh and develop our new hire orientation program using best practices for adult education and instructional design
Build a portfolio of educational programs such as a short-form onboarding program and continuing education solutions
Regularly assess the needs of our target audiences and their managers to propose and develop new scalable learning solutions to address their learning needs
Develop the teaching skills of subject matter experts (SMEs) to continually improve delivery skills and support development of creative ways to train target audience
Develop ongoing learning initiatives through program assessments and collaboration with stakeholders
Work hyper cross-functionally to serve these teams
This role may require up to 60% travel
5+ years’ experience working in ads/technology industry and/or 7+ years in learning design or management
Experience in one or more of the following: program management, project management, learning and development, instructional design, facilitation or education
Experience across core instructional design domains in a learning management role, including strategic needs analysis, curriculum design, facilitation, and training measurement and analysis
Experience in delivering program excellence, including conducting strategic needs analysis, program design, management, execution, and measurement
Experience with distilling the needs of stakeholders into an action plan and articulating reasons for how you have prioritized
Experience prioritizing the measurement of the program
Public presentation and group facilitation experience
Experience in managing relationships, both internally and externally, with experience influencing stakeholders (leadership, managers, SMEs, participants)
Experience managing multiple learning programs at the same time
