Summary:

The Facebook Partnerships team is responsible for building strong business partnerships across Facebook’s family of products, platforms and services. The Partnerships Planning & Operations group is looking for an experienced business leader to help drive organizational planning and operational execution at scale across the Partnerships organization. Core responsibilities include building robust global operational processes and infrastructure to enable efficiency for all other Partnerships Planning & Ops teams, plus driving organizational efficiencies through analytically-driven strategic organizational planning recommendations. This leader will need to collaborate deeply with many cross-functional teams at Facebook, including finance, business intelligence, analytics, marketing, etc.

The ideal candidate is passionate about Facebook, drives projects to completion, is well-versed in a variety of technology business models, has strong analytical and communication skills, and most importantly is a deeply strategic. This is a full-time position located in our Menlo Park, California office working with the Director of Partnerships Planning & Operations.

Required Skills:

  1. Business and Strategic Planning:

  2. Support the Partnerships Central Functions VP and other VPs and leadership teams in Partnerships on key business initiatives, programs, resource planning, and special projects such as vertical alignment and organizational design.

  3. Develop a deep understanding of the operations of the Partnerships team and be the person that can connect the dots between teams to identify areas for improvement, efficiency, and collaboration.

  4. Frame decisions and contribute a strong point of view.

  5. Analyze data, surface insights, summarize information, and identify business strategies that allow leadership to improve execution and efficiency.

  6. Stay up-to-date with trends in business, technology, and specific industries where Facebook is involved, including knowledge of current/potential clients and partners.

  7. Operating Rhythm:

  8. Develop operational review rhythm and content for Partnerships leadership to drive decision-making through progress review on regional goals and priorities (e.g. monthly/quarterly business reviews).

  9. Work closely with internal communications and HR teams to ensure leadership is communicating constantly and transparently within the team and across Facebook organizations.

  10. Drive key leadership meetings and facilitate alignment on key issues and opportunities.

  11. Develop strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across the company.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, economics, business or other quantitative disciplines

  2. 15+ years of work experience in Management Strategy Consulting or Sales Planning & Operations, or 13+ years experience with MBA/Master's degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience leading strategy, operations and process improvement projects at a leading consulting firm or in a relevant strategy/operations team

  2. Distinctive problem solving and analysis skills, ability to solve complex and diverse business problems (commercial, operational, organizational), and to drive projects from strategy to execution

  3. Able to develop or oversee advanced quantitative analysis and derive actionable insights

  4. Strong leadership and influencing skills – able to lead/influence stakeholders at all levels of an organization

  5. Demonstrable experience working cross-functionally with leadership in developing and executing successful plans

  6. Results and detail oriented, with strong commercial/business acumen

  7. Superior Excel and PowerPoint skills

  8. MBA
