Summary:

Facebook is seeking a Head of Compensation to lead a team of compensation partners and analysts in partnering with business leaders to drive strategic compensation decisions and deliver innovative, competitive, and analytically-driven compensation programs across the global Technology group. This full-time role is based at Facebook's corporate headquarters in Menlo Park, CA and reports to the VP of Compensation.

Required Skills:

  1. Manage team of business aligned compensation partners and analysts with a focus on career development and growth

  2. Provide thought leadership with the business and across the total rewards organization on all compensation topics

  3. Drive consistency in compensation planning, program administration, annual cycles and comp program automation projects for designated business

  4. Partner with other team leads to ensure consistency and align on approach to compensation program administration

  5. Consult with business leaders on compensation decisions and strategy

  6. Lead direction on market analysis and insights for new and existing roles in business

  7. Serve as compensation advisor to the head of Technology HR and business - must be able to influence and drive decisions at this level

  8. Innovate and react quickly to changing business and market realities and demonstrate openness and flexibility to client needs and requests

  9. Partner closely with recruiting organization to help Facebook hire the very best in a challenging market for technical talent

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. BA/BS in Human Resources, Economics, Business Administration or similar field

  2. 10+ years of experience in compensation consultant/analyst role

  3. Experience working with HRBP's, clients, and across HR disciplines

  4. Demonstrated team leadership, partnership, influencing and communication experience

  5. Experience with Excel, PowerPoint and statistical packages

  6. Experiences in one or more of the following compensation disciplines: salary and incentive plan design and administration, sales compensation, international compensation, equity compensation, executive pay

  7. Experience with compensation analytics tools and surveys

  8. Working knowledge of employment law and practices

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Advanced degree

  2. Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation
