Facebook is seeking an individual to focus on coordinating and organizing our content acquisition and media partnerships payment programs. It’s a unique opportunity to join the team that helps support Facebook by working with a broad range of media partners (e.g., creators, publishers, production companies and media companies). The ideal candidate will be passionate about the media sector, have strong financial analysis skills and experience with handling a wide range of organizational tasks with a heavy emphasis on payment operations. This candidate must be able to work independently with little or no supervision, have the ability to understand basic financial concepts, such as budgets and payment schedules, track and manage payments in finance/purchasing systems, as well as have an interest in learning about range of content and media related deals. You must be a problem solver, exceedingly well organized, and enjoy the challenges of supporting a small fast-moving team working on a range of initiatives. You are able to interact confidently with staff at all levels often under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient—with a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and laser focus on execution. This role is based out of our Menlo Park office.

Required Skills:

  1. Assist with deal payment tracking, management, and execution based on contract terms

  2. Own the management of various content program databases

  3. Complete forms to onboard partners into various programs

  4. Work directly with partners to coordinate contract onboarding, payments, and other logistics

  5. Provide procurement support to various deal programs, creating purchase requisitions and purchase orders in finance systems

  6. Be an expert in company policy and guidelines for the team on finance and payment processes

  7. Partner closely with cross-functional teams such as Content, Production, Finance, Accounts Payable, Procurement and Accounting on payment research and investigation

  8. Opportunities to assist with process improvements, requirements gathering for new payment systems and management dashboards, and implementation

  9. Maintain spreadsheets, databases, and other organizational applications

  10. Ensure and maintain confidentiality of all appropriate communications and documentation

  11. Communicate daily with internal teams while exhibiting the highest degree of professionalism, courtesy and diplomacy

  12. Manage, coordinate, and support special projects as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. BA or BS degree

  2. 2+ years of experience in the media sector, including agency and studio environments in a coordinator or administrative role or 2+ years experience in purchasing, accounting, finance, or analytical roles

  3. Experience in Excel, PowerPoint, and finance systems (e.g., Oracle or similar application)

  4. Experience prioritizing multiple assignments

  5. Experience multi-tasking and changing direction

  6. Knowledge of television and media
