Summary:

The Partnerships team at Facebook works with leading content creators, publishers and businesses in entertainment, sports, news and many other verticals. This role is a unique opportunity to work with one of the most important data sets in the world. In this role as a Data Product Manager on the Core Data Team within Partnerships Analytics, your primaryresponsibility will be to ensure that stakeholders across the organization, both technical and non-technical, are equipped with the data resources that they need to make impact.

You will be a key contributor focused specifically on the information architecture and product design philosophy behind what we build. You will work directly with members of the team, as well as stakeholders from neighboring teams, to identify user needs and requirements for our data products. In addition, you will be responsible for working across Partnerships Analytics to improve on our current end-to-end Tools, Systems & Packages (dashboards, visualizations and UI/UX) by identifying and understanding issues experienced by the team, always with the focus on creating streamlined patterns to boost user efficiency and performance.

The ideal candidate will be extremely detail-oriented and have an inclination for breaking down complex data and analytical style problems. The role will report to the Core Data Team’s Product Lead and is based in Menlo Park.

Required Skills:

  1. Create actionable, insights driven data products for a variety of strategic business initiatives, stakeholder goals and user needs

  2. Establish prioritized roadmaps and implement strategies for executing with teams cross-functionally to build products that will advance the organization’s productivity through data & analysis

  3. Audit data sets, visualizations, dashboards and tools end-to-end in identifying and prioritizing key issues and opportunities for innovation

  4. Implement a user-centric design methodology, focusing on goal definition, design exploration and idea refinement

  5. Communicate how users will interact with our data products through multi-step user flows, designs and prototypes

  6. Foster design thinking within the Partnerships Analytics organization through workshops, design sprints and ideation exercises

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 3+ years experience, with experience in end-to-end product management, systems product design and/or data analysis

  2. 2+ years experience working with enterprise analysis tools

  3. 1+ years experience building data reporting

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. 3+ years experience in Kanban or Scrum and a proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships across multiple cross-functional teams

  2. 1+ years experience in SQL (Oracle, Vertica, Hive, etc.)

  3. Experience in Product Design with a focus on analytics and an ability to tell a story with data

  4. Experience communicating with a variety of audiences

  5. Experience prioritizing among demands

  6. Desire to untangle complex, subtle problems
