Facebook’s internal agency, The Studio is responsible for helping over a billion people understand Facebook's products and mission. We produce creative that communicates and re-enforces our core brand values, with an emphasis on product marketing and events, while continuing to evolve the Facebook voice and tone. The Studio is looking for a Creative Director who can leverage experience in event and activation design, developing powerful creative experiences through visual storytelling and innovation to build and grow the environmental and experiential design discipline at Facebook.

Required Skills:

  1. Drive the direction and development of Facebook's in-house consumer creative strategy, plans and execution

  2. Work with the marketers on the team to deliver highly-engaging, rapidly-deployed messages to Facebook's users

  3. Be the main creative voice of the Facebook brand for F8 and other tier brand events

  4. Develop original marketing content for a variety of marketing touch-points

  5. Work closely with the Product, events and other cross-functional teams to make sure the brand and product messaging and experience are aligned

  6. Prioritize projects accordingly

  7. Manage a program calendar/roadmap and communicate to all stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Design, Journalism, Marketing or related discipline

  2. 10+ years experience in creative role with an emphasis on events, activations and consumer marketing

  3. Experience developing and managing consumer marketing programs in an integrated marketing environment

  4. Experience recruiting talent and developing teams

  5. Demonstrated creative and proven global and digital experience

  6. Track record of working in cross-functional teams

  7. Experience leading creative work

  8. Experience working in a data-driven environment

  9. Online portfolio
