Facebook is looking to hire a Chief Marketing Officer to build, manage and inspire a global marketing organization focused on its consumer business and overall company reputation. This position requires substantial experience across the full suite of consumer marketing disciplines for product marketing, digital marketing, regional and country programs, social media, retail and channel marketing, marketing analytics, branding, events and partnerships. This executive is a natural storyteller with a passion for new markets and technologies, connecting with consumers in non-obvious and creative ways. This executive must welcome the challenge to build marketing in an organization that is engineering led and still learning to capitalize on marketing's impact. As a key member of the Facebook management team, this executive will be responsible for the company's core marketing strategy and execution.
Lead a high performing, highly collaborative team and inspire leaders across multiple disciplines
Conceptualize and implement business marketing strategy and plans across all of its consumer business
Develop marketing solutions across all marketing programs, communication channels, regions, and functions
Activate stories and programs at scale through our communications vehicles and regional marketing efforts
Identify scaled marketing methods to land key messages and drive adoption of Facebook’s marketing solutions
Prioritize and manage marketing budgets
Develop and cultivate cross-functional relationships with teams across FB as well as external partners
15+ years of consumer/tech experience – CMO or GM Experience
Experience with consumer aesthetic/instinct leading to distinct product positioning
Knowledge on how to guide a brand's reputation and experience in crisis management
Experience in building, executing and measuring data-driven marketing programs across online and traditional channels
Experience in the use of analytics tools and ROI metrics
Proven track record delivering creative, integrated consumer demand and education programs (ATL and BTL)
Experience managing marketing budgets of US$500 million
BA or BS degree in Marketing, Business or related field
Experience partnering to build a high profile, large-scale consumer technology brand, one reliant on hardware & software innovation
Established and innovative marketing leader with a broad, diverse marketing background
A strategic thinker with strong tactical acumen
