Facebook seeks an experienced Product Marketing Leader who is passionate about technology and innovation to join the Business Product Marketing team, focused on a portfolio of communications, insights, and developer tools to help small businesses grow using the Facebook Pages platform. Pages is the entity for every brand, business, nonprofit and media organization on Facebook. With over 70 million active business Pages, the Page platform is one of the largest business platforms in the world and this leader will be responsible for helping to shape the way millions of people, businesses and causes around the world communicate. The successful candidate must have experience leading product management or product marketing and ideally will have developed and managed product management or marketing programs in tech. He or she must have experience managing teams, a track record of strong cross-functional leadership and exhibit analytical and communication skills. This is a full-time position based in our Menlo Park, CA office.

Required Skills:

  1. Manage, develop and grow a team of product marketers working across a portfolio of communications, insights, and developer tools for SMBs

  2. Identify significant long-term opportunities based on research, analysis and a strategic view of the direction of the market

  3. Assess market requirements including opportunity size, competitive analysis, target customers and product requirements

  4. Represent voice of the market including qualitative and quantitative feedback on product from businesses

  5. Define and manage comprehensive go-to-market strategy and plan including positioning, launch strategy, PR, sales and partner materials

  6. Lead cross-functional teams (e.g., PR, product and engineering stakeholders, channel marketing) to deliver products to the market

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 10+ years experience in software or internet technology

  2. 4+ years management experience in product management or product marketing

  3. BA/BS degree

  4. Experience working in a cross-functional capacity

  5. Analytical, data driven decision-maker

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. MBA

  2. Knowledge of mobile advertising, B2B solutions for SMBs, messaging communications tools for SMBs

  3. Experience in analytic fields such as strategy consulting, brand management, investment banking/venture capital

  4. Product marketing experience in the internet sector or B2B tech and the ability to contribute at both strategic and operational levels
