Facebook Brand Manager, Social VR Marketing in Menlo Park, California

The Brand Manager will be responsible for ensuring a consistent visual and text tone and voice in all places where Social VR products are externally represented, and building an understanding of how different messages and visual resonate with different audiences.
This role will likely be asset creation & management, such as working with creative agencies; managing and creating resources for internal teams and possibly external partners who want to use Social VR products like Spaces at their events; and marketing research (most likely through an external agency, but also partnering with our product and user research cross-collaboration teams).
Their main cross-collaboration partners will be Content Strategy, PR and User Research.
Responsible for ensuring a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all social VR products' marketing assets
Responsible for managing, or providing a consumer voice perspective, on the asset creation process, alongside relevant PMMs and PMs, with internal artists or external agencies, such as trailers for events like F8, assets for press releases, or images for blog posts
Point of contact for teams across Facebook who want to incorporate SVR assets and products into their work, events or partnerships
Responsible for delivering research from surveys, focus groups and user tests that drives marketing messages and brand insights across all social VR products
Responsible for audience definition and segmentation, and supporting the broader cross-functional team in identifying key messages for those audiences based on research insights
Project management experience
Experience with brand management/creative direction
Experience working in, and communicating across, a cross-functional team
2+ years experience in a marketing role
Marketing research experience, either direct or through an agency
Agency or agency management skills
Interest in VR
Experience and comfort working in a fast-paced environment
