Facebook is seeking an experienced content programmer with knowledge of Facebook priorities and who is passionate about the convergence of media content and technology to work on programming strategy for Watch. This person will have a strong understanding of models of fan engagement and data-driven performance feedback.

This role will manage our efforts to drive global video content to Facebook Watch in order to maximize consumer engagement, build audience, and drive repeat viewership on behalf of both Facebook and our partners. This person will be responsible for prioritizing content programming based on performance KPIs and goal-driven metrics, to ensure successful results in collaboration with a broad cross-functional team.

Required Skills:

  1. Identify partners and global video content opportunities across a spectrum of monetization opportunities to drive viewership in Watch

  2. Work closely with teams focused on operationalizing and distributing video content to ensure product alignment and video content success

  3. Develop and maintain strong internal relationships with key stakeholders

  4. Be a source of insights on industry practices for content programming in the digital content ecosystem

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. BA or BS Degree

  2. 8+ years experience in the entertainment or technology industry

  3. Experience working in global content acquisition landscape and understanding of content distribution

  4. Experience collaborating and leading across teams in a cross-functional work setting

  5. Knowledge of Facebook products and social media

  6. Communication and presentation experience

  7. Knowledge of industry best practices, traditional entertainment and media industries

  8. Experience defining, developing and leading programs

  9. Collaboration and relationship-building experience
