People around the world use Facebook to discover videos from their favorite publishers and creators, from entertainment, to sports, to news. Facebook is seeking a Content Planning & Strategy individual for the Media Partnerships organization who is passionate about building new, social video experiences for publishers, creators and their audiences. This is a full-time position located in Menlo Park or Los Angeles, California.

Required Skills:

  1. Build strategic frameworks for content resource allocation

  2. Synthesis analytical data and market research

  3. Understand the broader video trends and Facebook’s position in them

  4. Work collaboratively with vertical and regional partnerships teams, product management, marketing and finance to establish ongoing video partnerships performance management processes

  5. Provide business analytic expertise (e.g. revenue, partner, market and competitive trends and insights) to help drive initiatives critical to ongoing growth

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 8+ years of experience working on media and technology, with experience working on digital video

  2. Experience in video content valuation, negotiations, content development/production

  3. Knowledge of content rights landscape and media environment, digital business models and consumer Internet/technology space

  4. Analytical experience and knowledge with both industry and Facebook-related data/metrics

  5. Experience building collaborative working relationships with cross-functional business partners, leads and peers

  6. Experience multi-tasking on projects across teams and experience turning insights into action

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience working with or in support of diverse communities

  2. Interpersonal skills and ability to develop working relationships inside and outside Facebook
