As a Technical Program Manager, you will play a key role within a Ads product organization driving huge projects that span across teams. Our team is comprised of varying levels of experience and backgrounds. Relevant experience is important, but ultimately less so than your demonstrated abilities and attitude. Facebook is constantly redefining what is possible and we need technical program managers that can do the same. This is a full-time position based in our main office in London.

Required Skills:

  1. Manage cross-functional platform programs by working with engineering, data and product teams

  2. Develop and manage end-to-end project plans and ensure on-time delivery

  3. Communicate big picture to the project team and management

  4. Provide hands-on program management during analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation phases

  5. Provide day-to-day management of programs and technology

  6. Drive internal process improvements, remove gaps across multiple teams and ensure teams are working on high impact projects that align with company mission and goals

  7. Interface with Engineering and Product teams for project requirements and scope

  8. Understand and be able to communicate both product and technical needs

  9. Influence technical and product implementations

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. B.S. in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.

  2. 3+ years of tech industry experience and 3+ years of program management experience.

  3. Communication, organization, and coordination skills along with multi-tasking capabilities to get things done in a fast-paced environment.

  4. Analytical and problem-solving skills.

  5. Ability to communicate and translate non-technical to technical (and vice versa) requirements and discussions.

  6. Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple partners in different time zones.

  7. Experience working with external technology vendors and partners.

  8. Proven ability to establish work relationships across multi-disciplinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience with external facing production systems for high traffic websites and services.
