The ideal candidate exhibits teamwork, motivation, proactivity and a great attitude. The EMEA People Operations team is fast growing so this will be a unique, challenging, and exciting role for an experienced HR professional that is up for the challenge and the growth opportunity at Facebook

Required Skills:

  1. Provide expert HR advice to employees & managers on Facebook policy and procedures across EMEA.

  2. Shapes employee leaves policies & drives the strategic approach for the employee & manager experience across the EMEA region.

  3. Comprehensive Manager support for complex and highly sensitive HR matter, such as long term sick leave.

  4. Manages the performance process, monitoring & assessing performance and supporting career development needs.

  5. Designs and delivers manager training across EMEA.

  6. Influence key stakeholders and recommend, drive & deliver HR policies/programs, adapting the requirements to each of our 16 locations.

  7. Project manage the Performance Summary Cycle across the EMEA region, in close collaboration with HR partners and business leaders.

  8. Project manage the Employee Engagement Survey and drives country and regional initiatives based on the results.

  9. Build strong, collaborative relationships with senior members of the HR team and business leaders.

  10. Effectively deliver key People data & analytics metrics that drive key business and regional People decisions and strategy.

  11. Lead the HR strategy for new office / entity set-up.

  12. Support other business critical processes, projects etc

  13. Assume the role of mentor for more junior members of the HR team.

  14. Maintains up to date knowledge and awareness of relevant employment legislation, across the region, in particular UK, Israel and Nordics.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Strong HR Generalist experience, ideally within the Tech industry, across the EMEA market.

  2. Excellent communication skills and ability to handle sensitive matters with tact and diplomacy.

  3. Ability to interact and influence senior partners and stakeholders across the organisation.

  4. Proven ability to effectively organize, prioritize, and handle multiple assignments simultaneously, in a fast paced environment.

  5. Experience working with HRIS and other HR tools, particularly in relation to data, analytics & reporting.

  6. Strong project management experience, working with multiple global stakeholders.

  7. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  8. Fluent English and second language, ideally Hebrew, strongly preferred.
