Workplace by Facebook is an enterprise communications platform that enables employees at any organisation to collaborate and communicate using many of the same features available on Facebook. Launched in 2016, Workplace is growing quickly, with thousands of companies around the world now using Workplace to connect their employees and work seamlessly across teams and geographies. To help with the ongoing growth of the Workplace momentum in EMEA, we are seeking strategic sales development professional who is passionate about Workplace and the role that communication and collaboration can play in improving the productivity and effectiveness of people in the workplace.

We need a tenacious sales development professional to fuel our growth and drive scale at the front-line of our Workplace team. As a founding member this function, you have the opportunity to impact the organisation globally and ultimately help us build it. Your impact will be in creating pipeline by leveraging your curiosity, creativity, and business acumen, measured by the quantity and quality of new opportunities you uncover. Required Skills:

  1. Build a community of Workplace champions across EMEA. Build deep relationships with customers, prospects, industry professionals and associations and leverage them to drive awareness and reach for Workplace. Work closely with Growth Managers to deliver a sales pipeline that will contribute to the overall goals for the region. Engage and attract prospects through carefully iterated sequences of interactions (telephone, email and in-person) to drive discovery meetings and generate pipeline. Qualify all sales leads and drive leads through the sales process Organize and participate in events to build community and boost brand awareness for Workplace. Test and develop innovative, effective, and scalable inbound and outbound prospecting techniques. Capture and share stories of how customers are using Workplace. Consistently log and record each-and-every outreach made, in Salesforce.com, producing regular activity reports. Share weekly updates on activities with the worldwide team and contribute to improving the knowledge of the worldwide team. Meet monthly in-person, phone and email communication goals. Suggest and implement improvements in the sales process.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Experienced – you have been in the SaaS sales space for at least the past 12 months in business development, inside sales or account management Entrepreneurial - you are can map out what needs to be done to get the outcome, you’re self-directed and always deliver Superb communicator – you build excellent relationships through your strong phone presence, excellent written language capability. Sales Track Record - you can quantify your wins like phone based new business, generated leads, nurtured leads, and appointments set. Agile Learner - you can pick up and explain new product ideas and processes to business decision makers. Fast - you are used to a fast-paced environment and challenging workload. Tool Proficient - adept with tools of the trade i.e. Salesforce, Linkedin, and Saleslift. BA/BS degree or equivalent commercial experience. Fluent English spoken and written + preferred French
