Facebook is looking for a high caliber Sales Operations Associate to be part of the Global Sales Operations team driving sound decisions, strategic planning and operational improvements across the Facebook teams that work with partners such as resellers, data partners, and marketing partners. The role will work across the Global Marketing Solutions group and with cross-functional teams in Global/ Region Sales, Legal, Finance and Business Intelligence/IT to build out business plans and operational tactics to drive scalable revenue growth, align partner efforts and create effective partner programs in the ecosystem. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Facebook and its ecosystem, interested in advertising, a strategic thinker who can drive for results and able to move fast. This is a full-time position and is located in our London office.
Partnerships: Develop strong collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders and partners across the company, including leading cross-functional task forces on major initiatives and represent the partnership functions with cross-functional teams and in Region.
Business Insights: Conduct impactful analyses on major revenue/ market and product trends, including vertical/sub-vertical performance, product adoption, leading revenue indicators, productivity and sales effectiveness across partners and resellers.
Rhythm of the business: Design and execute on standard cadence of operations (e.g., goal-setting, forecasting, revenue and operational KPI reviews, key accounts/ partner reviews) to inform management with actionable improvement opportunities. • Strategic Planning: Design and drive planning activities with the primary objective of enabling sales and partnership leadership to make effective, analytically-driven and strategic operating decisions to drive growth. This includes medium/long-term planning (strategic, operational and financial) focused on market opportunity sizing, product focus, resourcing and org implications.
Strategic projects and initiatives: Execute critical projects and initiatives for the Reseller, Partnerships, Agency and Global Sales teams, partnering with cross-functional teams across the organization. Support local implementation of global programs together with teams in Region. Drive operational excellence in the sales organization through identification and execution of opportunity areas that create efficiency, remove obstacles, or create improved processes and approaches to the business. In conjunction with business owners, provide guidance in developing strategic partnerships and reseller relationships assessing viability and return on investment.
Automation and efficiency: Develop standard processes and tools/dashboards that can be scaled centrally.
BA/BS in an analytical field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business or related field)
MBA a plus
8+ years of work experience (or 6+ years with MBA/ Master’s degree) in Sales Finance, Sales Analytics, Sales Operations, Corporate Strategy, and/or Strategy Consulting - preferably in the digital media/ online advertising space and with exposure to media partnerships, and agency/reseller/channel partners & programs
Distinctive problem solving and analysis skills, ability to solve complex and diverse business problems (commercial, operational, organizational)
Proven stakeholder management skills – including managing multiple partners simultaneously, and strong influencing skills (at all levels of an organization)
Solutions and detail oriented, with strong sales and commercial/business acumen
Understanding of organizational dynamics, operating experience with large and complex organizations
Willingness and ability to travel and to support multiple time zones in our global organization
International experience and/or multicultural skills a plus
