Facebook seek a Senior Product Marketing Leader who is passionate about mobile advertising, technology, and innovation to join our Business Product Marketing team, focused on Facebook’s products for emerging markets and cross-border solutions. In this role, you will identify key market requirements/opportunities and establish world-class go-to-market strategies that unlock those opportunities.

The successful candidate must have experience leading product management or product marketing and ideally will have developed and managed product management or marketing programs in tech. The ideal candidate will also have a strong understanding of digital advertising platforms and the advertising market, a track record of shaping product strategy and growing product adoption, and a vision for how we can better meet the needs of our customers with our emerging markets and cross-border business solutions. He or she must have experience managing teams, a track record of strong cross-functional leadership and exhibit analytical and communication skills.

This is an end-to-end product marketing role including but not limited to; leading a team that will initiate the development of new products, defining market requirements, providing analytic proofs for product strategy internally, running product alpha and beta tests, and developing/executing go-to-market strategies and collateral for new advertising products in emerging markets. This person will be responsible for leading a team that will build innovative products.

Required Skills:

  1. Manage, develop and grow a team of product marketers working across a portfolio of advertising products

  2. Identify significant long-term opportunities based on research, analysis and a strategic view of the direction of the market

  3. Manage / guide a team that work with clients, partners, product and sales teams to understand business needs and outline the requirements of the market to inform the product roadmap

  4. Aggregate, distill and prioritize product feedback from multiple sales and partnership channels

  5. Lead market assessment to identify new product opportunities and represent voice of the market by conducting industry research, including deep quantitative, qualitative and competitive analysis

  6. Test and launch new products in market and lead comprehensive, cross-functional activities including betas, positioning, policy, product documentation, and sales collateral

  7. Drive comprehensive go-to-market strategy and plan to support product launches and scaled adoption

  8. Lead cross-functional teams (e.g., PR, product and engineering stakeholders, channel marketing) to deliver products to the market

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 10+ years experience in software or internet technology, including experience with digital advertising platforms

  2. 4+ years management experience in product management, product marketing or online advertising

  3. BA/BS degree

  4. Solid team leadership experience

  5. Experience working in a cross-functional capacity

  6. Analytical, data-driven, decision-maker

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Knowledge and experience with data-driven ads products

  2. Experience in analytic fields such as strategy consulting, brand management, investment banking/venture capital

  3. Product marketing experience in the internet sector or B2B tech and the ability to contribute at both strategic and operational levels

  4. Experience launching or scaling business requirements with international teams/agencies or launching products in emerging markets
