Summary:

Facebook is looking for a full-time Head of Global Programs Marketing. We’re looking for someone who is experienced and passionate about scaling community engagement and integrated marketing programs as a part of Facebook’s corporate brand building efforts. Our goal is to drive value in communities around the world, and to build stronger understanding and collaboration between Facebook and the public, private, and non-profit sectors. This role will focus on scaling our programming, trainings, and community outreach, while bringing our corporate brand to life through marketing communications.

The ideal candidate will have experience at a high-profile brand, tech company, or agency scaling integrated marketing in a global role. We are looking for an experience marketing leader who can develop strategy and deploy marketing and training content to support our social responsibility, public policy, and startup & developer efforts at a global scale.

This is a highly cross-functional role: collaborating with our Public Policy and Partnerships teams and across various marketing functional teams (Regional Marketing Teams, Insights & Analytics, Media Planning, Events, Creative). He or she must be driven and have a relentless focus on growing awareness and sentiment through integrated marketing campaigns, program development, and ongoing community building. He or she must have experience effectively managing a team, collaborating with cross-functional partners, vendors, and agencies. This person must have proven experience delivering results in brand building, content marketing, messaging, and community management. The ideal candidate will be creative, analytical and display strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. This is a full-time position based at Facebook headquarters in London.

Required Skills:

  1. Define and drive the programming and marketing strategy for Facebook’s Global reputation focused programs. These include investments in online training platforms, physical training spaces, and programming for developers, startups, and media partners.

  2. Create integrated marketing strategies for Facebook’s global marketing programs to build community engagement and positive brand sentiment among consumers and influencer audiences globally. Grow and lead a highly motivated team of marketers to scale our programming and associated marketing campaigns around the world.

  3. Define and implement strategic processes to scale best practices for developing marketing content in partnership with regional country marketing leads, balancing global and local needs.

  4. Partner with internal creative teams and external agencies to create marketing campaigns, training platforms, and educational material, creative assets, and marketing tool-kits.

  5. Manage relationships and production timelines with creative agencies and external vendors to develop and localize marketing content.

  6. Work with regional country marketing leads to deploy and localize marketing assets while applying consistent brand guidelines for regional Facebook programs and investments.

  7. Develop and execute innovative, audience-led marketing strategies and initiatives that deliver against Facebook brand and/or corporate objectives in partnership with internal/external design, media planning and analytics partners.

  8. Define measurement and tracking plans to understand community engagement with content and campaign performance against clear success metrics, utilizing a test-and-learn approach.

  9. Liaise with Partnerships and PR to identify ongoing opportunities for program expansion and amplification.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree (minimum) in journalism, marketing, public relations, communications, business, or related field required.

  2. 8+ years in high-profile product marketing or brand marketing role, either in-agency or in-house. Experience managing a team is a must.

  3. Experience developing global marketing strategy with strong project management skills.

  4. Experience planning and executing marketing communications and creative production in a fast-paced, often ambiguous environment.

  1. Ability to distill benefits into clear and compelling marketing content.

  2. Self-starter, flexible thinker and outstanding communicator who is comfortable working across diverse teams and influencing different perspectives as you work across multiple teams including Marketing, Public Policy, Partnerships, Analytics and PR. Strong startup/tech orientation, with a passion for the intersection of technology and marketing.

  3. Team oriented—someone that is motivated by helping others as much as they are motivated about excelling in their individual role.

  4. Highly autonomous—ability to drive progress with little to no direct involvement from leadership.

  5. Global experience with international policy strongly preferred.

  6. Experience with Microsoft Office products, Keynote
