Summary:

The role of Global Client Partner acts as a key point of contact globally for leadership of one of Facebook's partnerships with a key FMCG company. This role entails developing a keen understanding of the client's business and organization, become a thought partner and drive the relationship between Facebook and the client at a global level to the point that Facebook becomes an established marketing lever that drives the Client's business.

The Global Client Partner is the principal representative between Facebook and the client leadership team, and at the center of an extensive internal (market teams & support teams) and external (agency & client) ecosystem of partners who are paramount to help him/her achieve his/her mission. This client is headquartered in the UK and therefore the position is ideally based out of our London office.

Required Skills:

  1. Develop thought leadership on client's business and industry

  2. Set long term aspiration and annual goals with a key global client

  3. Seek to understand Client's business objectives to ensure Facebook solutions are positioned appropriately

  4. Accountable for the execution of a plan or Joint Business Partnership to achieve these goals, and for delivering on service expectations as per Joint Business Partnership agreement, e.g. training, workshops, measurement studies-ultimately accountable for regional / global revenue with that client

  5. Lead, yet not manage, an internal ecosystem of Country Client Partners and Client Solutions Managers and regional Global Business Partner to execute against a vision and plan for the partnership between Facebook & the client

  6. Align with cross functional teams like Sales, Marketing, Measurement, and Pricing to ensure client expectations are managed, and delivered upon

  7. Deliver the highest levels of client service by partnering with cross regional teams to align objectives, improve relationships and processes

  8. Set and communicate direction and prioritization of key markets and initiatives to support Client's Facebook activities locally, regionally and globally

  9. Collaborate with internal, cross market/regional teams to ensure product improvement, transfer knowledge region-to-region and improved process/client relationships

  10. Partner with Client's media and creative agencies to ensure synergies, collaboration and trusting relationships are established, towards a common goal of achieving Client's business objectives

  11. Drive 'best practice' marketing solutions for brands across Facebook and Instagram Platforms

  12. Identify incremental revenue opportunities and scale accordingly and ensure Client's investment targets are met or exceeded

  13. Monitor and provide timely and accurate forecasts of sales opportunities and pipelines

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 10+ years of experience in marketing, media sales or project management

  2. FMCG vertical experience preferred

  3. Experience in managing international accounts and delivering the highest service levels to these clients

  4. Experience in managing multi-layer, complex business relationships

  5. Proven and consistent track record of executing against an aggressive growth strategy and contributing to client revenue growth rates above expectations

  6. Proven leadership ability to influence, develop, and empower colleagues to achieve objectives with a team approach

  7. Ability to convert business from other media channels

  8. Results and detail orientated

  9. Strategic thinking abilities

  10. Leadership, organizational, and problem solving/decision making skills
