Facebook is seeking a numerate and logical apprentice, with an interest in gaining digital marketing and analytics experience supporting the with our largest UK advertisers
Location: London near Warren Street & Euston Station
The Facebook Digital Marketing Apprenticeship is a 15-18 month program offered as part of the UK Government Apprenticeship program in partnership with WhiteHat
You will join the Digital Marketing & Marketing Analytics teams at Facebook and will be assigned a manager for the duration of your 15-18-month apprenticeship. You will start in October 2018 with our academic partner WhiteHat, for initial training.
As an apprentice within our Global Business Marketing and Creative Shop team, you will help support our creative teams tell our story to brands, agencies and marketers around the world and we're looking for a razor sharp Designer/Marketer to bring us their talent, energy and creative skills. You will be supporting the teams in inspiring and influencing how advertisers build strategies, concept ideas and execute campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and the next set of Facebook ad platforms. We are looking for a creative person with a background in art direction, photography, motion or visual arts. You're a creative thinker and maker with a passion for social and tech. Your personal IG Stories feed is full of great stuff. You are very happy to craft ideas from scratch.

Work alongside the content team to help produce collateral, presentations, seasonal insights and/or narrative decks
Support team in developing bespoke microsites, landing pages or mobile apps
Help translate written material into beautiful infographics and illustrations
Sourcing or creating imagery for case studies, blogs, Facebook Pages and other content channels
Preparing material for marketing events including event branding, invitations and keynote speeches
Help create animations for brand videos or presentations
Support in the development of print and digital advertising to promote the Facebook brand
Collaborating with the broader marketing and creative teams to ensure Facebook's creative assets are best-in-class Working hours are 9.00am - 5.30pm, Monday to Friday
Five GCSEs at Grades A*-C or 9 - 4, (including English & Mathematics), Functional Skills Level 2 in English and Maths, or a relevant Level 2 Apprenticeship, or equivalent qualifications or experience.
Predicted B grade at A-Level or equivalent qualification in one or more subjects.
Ability to speak and write in English fluently and idiomatically.
Have the authorization to work in the United Kingdom.
Ideally, we are looking for recent school leavers and non-graduates for the role. Qualifications taken
We will equip you with everything you need to know to help our customers on their digital journey. You will receive specialised training on basic marketing principles, the fundamentals of search marketing, Facebook advertising, and more. You will develop further skills through hands-on experience in research & advertising analytics.
After completing your initial training, you will be onsite at Facebook for further training and onsite experience, rotating between being onsite at Facebook and training at WhiteHat during your apprenticeship. While onsite, you will have the opportunity to work within a team constantly iterating, solving problems, and working together to empower people around the world to build community and connect in meaningful ways. What Next? A full-time opportunity may be available if the candidate excels in the role. Experience in the field of design, including PowerPoint, Keynote, print and video but especially digital
Experience with InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop a plus
Storytelling and good visual communications skills
Good organizational skills, the ability to manage their own time productively.
Self-starter, able to continue to work on tasks independently Personal Qualities
