The AR/VR Platform and Product Partnerships team is seeking a talented, highly motivated and experienced individual to join the Business Development & Partnerships team. Facebook's AR/VR organization brings together world-class experts to develop and ship groundbreaking products at the intersection of hardware, software, and platform. The work is dynamic and will span across Oculus, Building 8 and Social VR.

The team is a small, agile team looking for someone who is passionate about hardware, software services, deals and business strategy. We love “athletes” with backgrounds in mobile, gaming, content acquisition, platforms, and growth. You will be required to handle multiple projects across a new industry and effectively negotiate terms that benefit our products and our users. This position offers a unique opportunity to leverage your strong understanding of the intersection between the Internet, high-tech and media industries to structure innovative and impactful partnerships. Required Skills:

  1. Take the lead to identify, evaluate, negotiate and manage strategic partnerships that enable valuable user experiences and support the strategic objectives of the AR/VR org Work cross-functionally in a matrixed BD and corporate structure

  2. Represent the AR/VR org in meetings with executives from other companies in EMEA

  3. Think holistically and define partnerships to drive hardware, content and developer ecosystems for first-of-their-kind hardware products

  4. Model, negotiate and close complex deals encompassing new business models and go-to-market strategies

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 7+ years of business development experience in the Internet, media and high-tech industries

  2. Highly strategic and capable of structuring and negotiating complex agreements, including comfort with legal aspects of negotiation

  3. Experience leading cross-functional teams to orchestrate and successfully complete deals

  4. Comfort with a fast-paced, always-on, highly ambiguous start-up environment

  5. History of proven success at high level negotiations

  6. Strong technical competence

  7. Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong working relationships inside and outside Oculus

  8. Creative, resourceful, detail-oriented and highly organized

  9. Excellent communication skills

  10. Ability to meet multiple objectives in an entrepreneurial environment with little supervision
