JibJab is looking for an innovative Product Manager to help define the future of JibJab and build products that are fun, funny, intuitive and useful. At JibJab, Product Managers are product owners, passionate about the smallest details, and also able to think many years out. They are expected to improve our existing products that millions of customers already love, as well as look to the future to explore and experiment with new ways to make our customers smile, and empower them to share happiness with friends and family.
This is a unique role that will lead the effort to take a concept to launch with a small team of designers and engineers. After launch, youâ€™ll be responsible for setting, tracking and advancing meaningful KPIâ€™s that align with core business objectives for your product.
Responsibilities:Define, build, test, launch, and iterate on a new product.Prioritize roadmap alongside a Project Manager.Use first-principle thinking by continually testing and iterating the product's features to ensure we're delivering the experience and value to our customers. Be comfortable in evolving the product's approach to align with the higher-level vision.Collaborate with Design, Engineering, QA, and Customer Support to gather feedback and help guide product development.Use an effective combination of research, data, user-testing and product intuition to make mindful product decisions that align with long-term goals.Serve as a communication hub between your product's development team and other stakeholders and the executive team.Identify new areas of opportunity by keeping up to date with new technology trends, SDKs, and updates to browser and mobile operating systems that could unlock new opportunities for the company.
Qualifications: Innovative thinker and a collaborative team player.At least 3-5 years of experience building and shipping technology, experience doing it at scale is a plus.Proficient in Sketch, prototyping and wire-framing.Ability to navigate and pull analytics data using applications like Google Analytics and Firebase.A consummate professional, working diligently to raise the bar on product quality, performance and team productivity.A detail-oriented person that can balance the higher-level roadmap planning with writing detailed product feature requirements.Excellent communication skills. An ability to communicate the product's vision to team members across the organization to align the team's effort and create enthusiasm.Strong sense of ownership and a 'roll up the sleeves and get things done' attitude.Experience with UX Design, and thinking through elegant user-flows.Experience with printed goods, video or animation technology and subscription-based services a plus, but not required.A creative problem solver that's continually coming up with new ideas on how to approach product challenges within the constraints of product deadlines.
