BAE is seeking a Director - Agile Transformation Leader to enable Enterprise IT to develop solutions iteratively using Agile Methodology. The candidate will be responsible for the development & execution of a comprehensive Agile transformation plan for short term and long term transformation of Enterprise IT & Business Stakeholders. The candidate will be responsible for determining the DevOps strategy for the organization. The candidate will also be responsible for hands-on training & coaching of our senior leadership team especially on Servant Leadership. Lead BAE teams to assess the implications of their Agile adoption, identify organizational, operational and process changes needed to optimize the impact of our Agile transformation, and work to manage communication and drive change.
Define Best in Class Agile Process to manage projects with small, medium and large investments. Inspect & adapt process to ensure speed to market without compromising on the rigor required for large strategic projects.
Determine DevOps Strategy and portfolio of tools required to support automation. Create business case and cost of acquisition, collaborate closely with Leadership team in budget approval and engage with procurement in acquiring the tools.
Be the Change Leader - Create Comprehensive Organizational Change Management Plan; negotiate with leadership to secure their support, create a rational and an emotional case for the change and implement across the organization. Lead/negotiate forming cross-functional teams that are self-organizing and self-managing to deliver on project objectives with the MVPs released at the earliest to achieve speed to market & benefit realization.
Subject Matter Expert and advisor to Release Train Engineers managing large complex strategic programs. Champion in building Agile Practitioner Center of Excellence.
Must have experience driving Agile transformation in a large, complex organization.
Experience in operational or business process analysis and design.
Experience developing strategic roadmaps and plans, and driving them through implementation.
Experience developing and defining agile transformation strategy while ensuring adoption.
Experience with scaling Agile leveraging industry Frameworks.
Experience as Release Train Engineer and/or Agile coach with an Agile practitioner mindset understanding common Agile practices, service-oriented environments, and iterative development practices.
Master's Degree in a technical field
Scaled Agile Certifications, Scrum Certifications, other Program and project management certifications.
Experience with Scaled Agile (SAFe), Scrum and Kanban Methodologies.
