Instagram is seeking to grow its Partnerships team in Hamburg. The Partnerships team manages strategic relationships with our key media partners, public figures and creators. The person in this Partner Manager role will work closely with other Strategic Partnership Managers (SPMs) in engaging with top strategic partners across Music, Fashion, Sports, News and young creators, including account management, event production, product education and partner analysis. The person in this role will have the opportunity to work directly and independently with relevant contacts in Partnerships organization. In addition to external partners and the SPM team, this role will also interface and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as Partner Marketing, Data and Media Operations teams. This is a full-time position based in Hamburg.
Lead and drive partnerships initiatives and strategy in region including partner outreach and account management
Establish best practices and educate new and existing partners on how to optimize performance and community building
Develop and share expertise on Instagram's interfaces
Assist partners with implementation of new tools and products
Track retention and performance of partners and develop cross-functional strategies to drive optimize their performance
Ensure the success of young creators on Instagram through consultations and scaled training methods
Solicit, organize, and contextualize product feedback from partners.
Minimum bachelors degree (post-graduate or professional degrees preferred) or equivalent
Significant professional experience
Razor-sharp focus on strategy and tracking meaningful metrics and goals
Experience working with high-profile public figures, media executives, multi-channel networks and talent agencies
Experience working on the ground in Germany necessary (additional experience in the EMEA region a plus)
Communication skills in both German and English
Deep knowledge of the digital media ecosystem
Experience working both independently and as a team
Experience working with and drawing insights from data
Experience multi-tasking, working on different projects and with different partners simultaneously
Rapid learner who thrives in a fast-paced and collaborative environment who is able to pivot as necessary, according to goals and objectives
Strong understanding and passion for Instagram and Facebook is essential
Willingness to travel.
