Summary:

Facebook is seeking a strong, experienced sales and marketing professional to help build and sell advertising solutions to major advertisers in the FMCG industry. As Client Partner you will contribute to a high-caliber team in a fast-paced environment. This role will require a self-starter who can not only build strong relationships, but also create and execute a business plan and operate confidently within Facebook's rapidly evolving commercial landscape. Ideal candidates will have experience and measurable success in selling digital solutions into traditional brand marketing departments. Success in this position requires a blend of strong consultative skills and creativity, with excellence in commercially focused client service in a team environment.

Required Skills:

  1. Help define Facebook's overall approach and focus in the FMCG vertical

  2. Identify and prioritize business opportunities

  3. Partner with other teams on structuring and executing operational and strategic initiatives - developing work plans, synthesizing market related data, leading analysis and defining the overall business approach to Facebook’s success in the FMCG vertical

  4. Increase the effectiveness of the team by recognizing opportunities for new approaches

  5. Develop and implement best practices for client interaction, sales and services for Facebook

  6. Prospect and penetrate large organizations to grow their advertising spend with Facebook

  7. Create persuasive sales presentations using market trends, case studies and Facebook network solutions

  8. Analyse campaign performance, build case studies and recommend optimized media solutions

  9. Exceed sales, pricing and yield goals for yourself and your team

  10. Ensure that our clients receive the highest level of customer service

  11. Represent Facebook at relevant FMCG industry events and build trusted relationships within the industry

  12. Analyse data and insights to guide strategy and implementation of Facebook

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s/Master's degree in marketing or business related subject preferred

  2. 8+ years of Consulting, Marketing, Brand Advertising and/or Media Sales experience

  3. 5+ years experience with FMCG industry or related traditional industries

  4. Self starter with entrepreneurial approach to work, excellent organizational and problem solving/decision making skills with minimal direction, high attention to detail

  5. Proven and consistent track record of executing against growth & sales targets

  6. Proven ability presenting to and influencing top level decision makers and key stakeholders

  7. Familiarity with both Facebook and Instagram's commercial offering

  8. Experience aligning marketing solutions and measurement to client business objectives

  9. Experience planning, delivering, and executing marketing campaigns, measurement, and creative strategy

  10. Experience communicating insights derived from complex data to drive growth

  11. Experience supporting the execution of account growth strategy and action plans as part of a team

  12. Ability to perform well in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment

  13. Ability to take data and analytics and use the Facebook product to build a solution for our customers

  14. Fluency in German and English
