Summary:

As we continue with our commitment to invest in the company’s strategic relationships and growth in India, we are seeking the highest caliber executive leader to spearhead this evolution. This exceptional people leader will have a proven track record of delivering success in a high performing organization and will have responsibility for all market facing functions. This includes Partnerships, Policy, Communications, and Global Marketing Solutions. This role will empower these cross-functional leaders during a pivotal time as we transform our business to achieve our objectives globally and in country. This candidate should have a deep understanding of the market opportunities and will create an inspiring vision to set objectives and run day to day operations. This position reports into the Global Head of our Global Marketing Solutions Team and will be based in our Gurgaon, India office.

Required Skills:

  1. Define and drive Facebook's India strategy with short, medium term and long-term goals

  2. Lead Facebook’s business in India including Sales & Marketing, Partnerships, Corporate and Government engagement

  3. Represent Facebook externally across a diverse range of strategic interests and matters

  4. Represent the needs of India, our business, external market dynamics and strategic opportunities globally within Facebook and lead the company's planning for India

  5. Lead Facebook's organization across multiple locations and cross-functional teams

  6. Develop capabilities needed to fuel Facebook’s growth in India anticipating future needs

  7. Build long term strategic partnerships with the largest clients, governmental bodies, industry groups and C level leaders

  8. Provide strategic business analytic strength to help drive initiatives critical to ongoing growth

  9. Establish strategic, financial and operating targets in alignment with long term strategic plan

  10. Act as a thought leader to grow Facebook’s footprint in India for our community, our advertisers and our partners

  11. Lead a team of diverse senior leaders playing a critical role in building, leading and inspiring a high performing commercial and business development organization

  12. Ensure teams retain functional connection and strength to Facebook headquarters

  13. Driving and ensuring collaboration amongst cross-functional teams in India, developing a One-India narrative and creating an inclusive organization

  14. Build a strong Facebook culture centered on our values and setting the highest standards of integrity and compliance

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Previous MD/CEO and significant divisional leadership is required

  2. Reputation as a thought leader running large complex businesses who is already highly regarded as a senior executive in the market

  3. Overall 15-20 years of senior leadership experience with a minimum of 12-15 years’ experience in leading global consultative sales & marketing global organisations and business development teams

  4. Influential at C Suite level externally and comfortable influencing at Exec levels internally

  5. Deep experience in developing a market for digital solutions and developing strategic partnerships

  6. Experience of strategically developing new businesses and new markets for scale

  7. A proven record of government, industry body and partner engagement on strategic matters

  8. Proven and consistent track record of executing against high growth targets, operating a P&L and leading large-scale investment programs

  9. Proven experience managing multiple functions across diverse business areas at scale

  10. Understanding of business clients and their needs, track record in the acquisition of new clients and entering new markets, experience in managing, developing and monetizing existing customers to the next level

  11. Previous experience successfully leading larger teams of 100 professionals or more: Will need to be comfortable in leading experienced leadership teams, growing talent and developing organisational culture
