In this role with the Global Data Center Connectivity Team, you will work closely with our global construction teams and various internal departments, including Data Center Analytics, Procurement and Finance to support all aspects of project cost management and financial forecasting for Facebook’s growing Data Center Construction team. Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills are a must in this highly collaborative role. The ideal candidate will have experience managing and analyzing cost and schedule in large, multi-project construction programs. This position will support Facebook’s North American data centers.

Required Skills:

  1. Supports the cost engineering, estimating, cost analysis/control, and planning/scheduling activities for a portfolio of small-medium size projects

  2. Monitors the overall health and progress of projects through the application of Earned Value Management

  3. Produces long-range material and labor demand plans

  4. Applies understanding of contractual agreements in the evaluation of project risk and change

  5. Provides system and analytical support to Facebook and Contractor site teams

  6. Reviews contract drafts to ensure they include adequate cost and scope definition and meet Project Controls requirements and coordinates development of all data in support of negotiations

  7. Manage the project change control process, maintain the schedule baseline, and current budget to reflect approved changes

  8. Execute the project completion close out process, including closing contracts, finalizing schedule, and reconciling schedule/cost performance against baseline

  9. Prepares, coordinates, and directs Project Controls presentations to Facebook and Contractor management

  10. Up to 25% travel to various Facebook sites

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 5+ years of experience in construction or project management

  2. 2+ years of on-site construction experience

  3. Working knowledge of Oracle P6 (Primavera), Cost Control Systems (i.e. Oracle Unifier, e-Builder), MS Excel, PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. BA/BS or equivalent in construction management, engineering, or related field
