The Platform Policy Operations team is looking for a strong team player focused on policy, app integrity and data privacy to support the developer community, investigate & enforce our policies and ensure the best possible user experience. The role covers Facebook, Instagram, as well as our newer platforms and products. In this position, you will interface with internal teams such as Partnerships, Policy, Legal, Marketing and Engineering, as well as with lone developers writing their first app and larger companies who have built businesses on the Facebook Platform. Successful candidates have a passion for investigating challenging scenarios, have strong attention to detail, bias toward action, enjoy finding patterns amid chaos and making quick decisions.

Required Skills:

  1. Quantify and approach solving problems through data-driven methodology

  2. Analyze data to identify trends and drive scalable solutions

  3. Investigate possible abuse, create & implement enforcement actions and communicate with developers

  4. Develop and lead end-to-end project plans and ensure on-time delivery of critical platform initiatives

  5. Stay up to date with data-privacy trends and policies, with a focus on Europe

  6. Interface with Legal, Operations and Engineering to ensure that developer and user data is handled appropriately

  7. Creatively contribute to the Platform team's overall mission

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. BA/BS degree or higher

  2. Avid Facebook user and an understanding of the Facebook platform

  3. Success in leading a project from inception to completion

  4. Strong critical thinking and deep analysis capabilities

  5. Strong quantitative and analytical abilities that support data-driven decision making

  6. Flexibility to take on multiple tasks

  7. Strong team player

  8. Ability to make sound decisions even on ambiguous situations

  9. Able to effectively influence up and across the organization

  10. Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  11. Data Privacy Certification - desirable
