Summary:

Facebook is looking for an International General Ledger Accounting Manager to join a fast growing team due to changes in local billing along with rapid organic growth of the organisation This is a full time permanent position based in Dublin. Required Skills:

  1. Responsible for managing multiple EMEA entities from a US GAAP reporting and local compliance point of view

  2. Identity and drive process improvement and automation as we scale

  3. Review the work of our outsourced partners

  4. Driving projects and making impact

  5. this role is more about adding value rather than operational accountant duties

  6. Manage processes related to month-end and quarter-end close, including P&L, Balance Sheet and variance analysis

  7. Contribute to quarterly management reporting

  8. Manage processes for the preparation of Corporation tax and VAT returns

  9. Manage processes for the preparation of Statutory Financial Statements

  10. Assist with the preparation and co-ordination of Statutory Audits

  11. Create strong business partnerships and manager service levels with third party service providers

  12. Participate and add value to ad-hoc projects such as acquisition integration

  13. Support the Finance team in design, testing and roll-out of financial reporting systems/tools/processes

  14. Deep technical expertise would be an advantage. Our ideal candidate will have spent time in a technical department of one of the big 4 at some point in their career

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Excellent team player who is very comfortable working as part of a larger team located in different locations

  2. Recognised accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA,ACCA)

  3. 8+ years relevant industry experience with large, fast-growing, multi-national company

  4. Solid knowledge of US GAAP and local GAAP

  5. Strong computer and analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel (experience with Oracle ERP or similar package is very desirable)

  6. Excellent planning, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills

  7. Organised and thorough with desire for continuous improvement

  8. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
