The Global Outsourcing team contributes directly to this mission by providing a reliable and scalable platform for all our internal stakeholders as an integral part in connecting every business in the world with their customers on Facebook, as well as building a safe and enjoyable environment for people using any of the family of Facebook Apps.

This position will focus on providing a structured approach to new outsourcing solutions, as well as on coordinating the ongoing Request For x (RFx) processes, and the subsequent engagements as part of implementations of new/expanded outsourced operations. In this role, you will be a key component of the internal support for the Global Outsourcing team to have a structured repository of options and actions related to our support portfolio. As this role requires interaction with different groups both inside and outside of Facebook, we’re looking for candidates with strong communication and influencing skills. Ideal candidates have experience in Project Management, in the fields of large BPO implementations or large operations as an added value.

Required Skills:

  1. Manage complex, high-impact implementation projects. Define requirements and execute effective communications, and project management strategies, to improve the speed and success of implementations of critical outsourced services for a variety of internal stakeholders.

  2. Create standardized processes and templates for the different contractual agreements used for outsourcing, in collaboration with the required internal stakeholders.

  3. Support the Request For Proposal/Request For Quotation/Request For Information processes by gathering the requirements, inserting those in the standardized model, receiving and reviewing the responses, and coordinating the next steps for selection and implementation.

  4. Review the current set of contractual documentation and integrate in standardized Project Management models to ensure it all ties from the RFx to the fully Operational stages of a service.

  5. Provide ongoing input to the management for external information on progress of projects, as well as to make informed decisions on modifications of strategy derived from project development.

  6. Research the global outsourcing landscape to support the team by providing insight on new markets, new technologies, new specialized partners, cost comparisons, and other factors impacting the sourcing strategy for Facebook.

  7. Support the Process team on design, implementation, and enhancement of core processes to improve the outsourcing strategy for scalability and high-quality of delivery.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 5+ years of experience in project management, especially on Business Process Outsourcing and/or large-scale operations

  2. business process improvement or information management as an additional value.

  3. 3+ years’ experience working on a global and/or cross-functional team with international footprint.

  4. Strong problem solving, organizational and analytical skills, coupled with the ability to act independently across competing priorities.

  5. Ability to develop workflows and process documents in multiple formats, in addition to advanced knowledge of MS Excel

  6. Influencing, organizational, communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.

  7. Flexibility to work in multiple time-zones, depending on the needs of the specific projects.

  8. Ability to travel internationally for at least 15% of the working time.
