Facebook is seeking an Accounting Manager to join the EMEA finance team based in Dublin. This role is a rare opportunity to manage a high performing team in a busy and challenging environment. Required Skills:

  1. Lead and manage a group of people within the EMEA Accounting team. This spans across our main pillars of US GAAP reporting, local GAAP compliance, scaling of processes and automation

  2. Enable a high-performing team by provide mentorship, guidance and career development expertise

  3. Identify actionable insights, suggest recommendations, and influence team strategy through effective communication

  4. Contribute to quarterly management presentations for C level staff

  5. Play an integral part in design and roll-out of financial reporting systems and processes by leveraging both internal and outsourced resources

  6. Provide support to finance management and other cross functional partners as needed. This includes ad hoc financial analysis, technical analysis and special projects

  7. Build an effective working relationship with global cross functional teams

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Proven track record in managing, growing, and developing a team

  2. Recognized accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA,ACCA)

  3. +6 years relevant industry experience with large, fast-growing, multi-national company

  4. Strong knowledge of US GAAP and local GAAP

  5. Excellent computer and analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel (experience with Oracle ERP is very desirable)

  6. Excellent planning, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills

  7. Superb attention to detail yet possesses an understanding of the 'big picture”

  8. Proven record of process improvement

  9. Flexible and enthusiastic, with a positive "can-do" attitude

  10. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
