Facebook Incident Response Analyst in Austin, Texas

Summary:

The Facebook Legal team is seeking a motivated, highly-organized, detail-oriented candidate to join our Incident Response Team. The right candidate must have a strong work ethic, excellent judgment, and exceptional partnering skills. The position is full-time and would be based in our Austin, Texas office.

Required Skills:

  1. Bring operational excellence to a team that handles high priority requests related to user safety

  2. Support imminent escalations related to sensitive subject matter and coordinate with internal partners and law enforcement agencies to provide real-world assistance to people in crisis

  3. Create and articulate responses to process and policy questions from law enforcement, government agencies and internal parties

  4. Work with a cross-functional team to drive improvements to policies and processes within the team

  5. Address sensitive content issues, including but not limited to graphic images, videos, offensive or derogatory language, and other objectionable material

  6. Must be available to work a regular schedule of either Tuesday-Saturday, or Sunday-Thursday from 11am to 7pm

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. BA/BS degree

  2. 3+ years of experience in safety, law enforcement response, or crisis response

  3. Experience prioritizing multiple functions and tasks while managing work time without compromising quality

  4. Experience communicating with both cross-functional teams and law enforcement agencies

  5. Experience with computer systems, internet technology and software (PC, Mac, MS Office, online research, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience with Crisis Management or working with Law Enforcement

  2. IAPP CIPP certification
