Facebook Global Reporting Analyst - Procure to Pay in Austin, Texas

Summary:

Facebook is seeking to fill a full-time position of Global Reporting Analyst - Procure to Pay, in our Austin, TX office. As a key member of the Global Procure to Pay (P2P) Process Team, you will be responsible for providing analysis to help drive the execution of the P2P global process transformation roadmap, as well as the general project portfolio, change management plans, and special projects. The successful candidate will be expected to be energetic, innovative and be able to problem solve, recommend solutions, perform quantitative and qualitative analysis and provide good business guidance to Global Process Leads, aiding in decision-making on a continuous basis.

Required Skills:

  1. Assist with and contribute to global continuous improvement programs for P2P reporting including reporting governance, systems, and data management

  2. Apply expertise in quantitative analysis, and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers and help inform our team leaders

  3. Assist in preparing and building reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarized data and trends

  4. Manage documentation efforts to ensure consistency across data platforms

  5. Leverage tools, such as SQL, Tableau, and Oracle to drive analytics

  6. Document requirements with stakeholders and business partners on broader changes to core dashboards and metrics

  7. Address data integrity issues and work to solve root cause process or systems issues by partnering with IT

  8. Assist in maintaining code-base used to drive self-service tools, including recommending opportunities for improvement

  9. Communicate and collaborate effectively with key internal and external stakeholders through transparency and partnership

  10. Coordinate and support special projects as needed

  11. Demonstrates an ability to improvise and adapt quickly, while ruthlessly prioritizing

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. BA/BS in a field that emphasizes analyzing, displaying, or reporting on data (e.g., computer science, math, engineering, economics, statistics, psychology), or equivalent work experience

  2. 3+ years experience in a quantitative analytics role

  3. 3+ years experience with SQL and/or Tableau report development

  4. Experience analyzing and documenting business processes

  5. Experience initiating and driving projects to completion

  6. Experience reporting on data/statistical analysis, communicating the results of analysis

  7. Experience with data visualization principles

  8. Communicator, with proven experience in consulting with internal business clients, external suppliers, and external stakeholders

  9. Teamwork and collaboration experience

  10. Organization experience

  11. Experience driving change and improving the end-to-end process

  12. Demonstrated experience with analysis and problem solving

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience in querying data using SQL across a variety of database platforms

  2. Understanding of statistical analysis, solid quantitative aptitude, and the ability to gather and interpret data and information

  3. Report building knowledge requiring custom calculations, and advanced visualization techniques

  4. Understanding of the Procure to Pay (P2P) process

  5. Project management skills
