Facebook is seeking an experienced Finance Quality Assurance Analyst to join its growing Global Process Transformation and Compliance team. Success in this role involves an ability to think critically, plan and execute effectively while collaborating across functions and locations. The successful candidate will be energetic, highly driven, solution focused individual that can work well with internal and external partners at all levels. The ability to think strategically while also being equally comfortable delivering on operational goals is critical. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience identifying and addressing financial, operational, IT and compliance risks in business processes, evaluating the design of internal controls, and assessing the effectiveness of processes and controls.

Required Skills:

  1. Work as part of the Finance QA global team leading Finance Quality Assurance reviews including identifying population, selecting samples to test and performing detailed testing with focus on outcome accuracy and control effectiveness

  2. Demonstrate understanding and creativity by developing new testing approaches and creative solutions to enhance QA coverage and enhance QA impact to the business

  3. Work collaboratively on QA reviews with other team members by serving as subject matter expert on technical topics related to SOX and controls

  4. Effectively communicate QA results and control assessment to all levels of management and internal auditors, providing insights into recommended areas for process improvements or system automations to prevent recurring issues

  5. Work cross-functionally with relevant parties on process improvement projects to enhance control environment

  6. Standardize & automate QA reporting & metrics, ensuring that we are focused on the right measures

  7. Build an effective working relationship with the Finance QA team as well as all other pillars within Finance

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science or related field

  2. 5+ years of experience working in Finance

  3. Internal and/or external audit experience

  4. Experience working collaboratively in a cross-functional, global environment

  5. Communication experience

  6. Experience getting into the detail yet also articulating findings to management

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience in the technology industry

  2. Experience in multinational, public companies

  3. SOX experience
