Summary:

The Site Coordinator will work very closely with the Data Center Site Operations Manager and the Facilities Manager to ensure all facets of the day-to-day operational needs are met. This is a full-time opportunity in our Ashburn, VA Data Center.

Required Skills:

  1. Procurement

  2. Oversight and ordering of all office supplies

  3. Work directly with the Help Desk to maintain the IT ordering and inventory

  4. Work directly with corporate Procurement Operations to on board and order from various vendors used at the Data Center

  5. Reconcile charges from various expense accounts

  6. Activities

  7. Responsible for all employee on and off site events

  8. Work directly with the Global Events team on corporate planned events

  9. Support and schedule onsite professional training classes

  10. Support the DC manager with community events and media appearances, as needed

  11. Daily Office Support

  12. Insure the organization and cleanliness of the data center

  13. Perform weekly checks of all conference rooms and stock supplies as needed

  14. Support set-up, moves, and configuration changes & providing misc. supplies as needed

  15. Maintain onsite contact lists

  16. Support and maintain the printers/plotters onsite

  17. Vendor Management

  18. Assist in management of the culinary and micro kitchen teams

  19. Assist in management, as needed, of various other contractors (for example: cleaning team, laundry, landscaping and snow removal, etc.)

  20. Identify with Supply Chain Operations (SCO) and track non-critical vendor KPIs

  21. Budgeting

  22. Track Community outreach budget and projects

  23. Track and support satisfaction budget

  24. Track/Action Open (Blanket) PO’s in conjunction with SCO

  25. Site Support

  26. Communicate and escalate any issues related to the support functions mentioned above

  27. Support site specific special projects and Menlo Park developed projects

  28. Support and coordinate site tours and visits where applicable

  29. Support site development with the Data Center Manager and team

  30. Other duties as required by the Site Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 6+ years experience working in an administrative function

  2. Project management experience

  3. Event planning experience

  4. Accounting, data and administrative practices and procedures experience

  5. Planning, organizing and time management experience

  6. Experience with Microsoft Office suite (specifically Excel, PowerPoint and Word)

  7. Communication and interpersonal experience

  8. Experience in team building

  9. Experience handling confidential information

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Knowledge of business and management principles

  2. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively

  3. High-level of attention to detail and accuracy

  4. Self-starter and adaptable to a dynamic environment
