Facebook is seeking an experienced Regional Data Center Logistics Manager in support of our Logistics Operations at our Central Data Center locations. This person will be responsible for working closely with the unique on-site Program Managers in their respective regions in support of logistics operations and processes. This role will possess influence on our systems strategy and IT inputs working closely with our teams nationwide. You will work closely with stakeholders across the entire Data Center ecosystem, internal and external, implementing consistent, repeatable, scalable processes with associated analytics and visibility measurements for management. Consistency of inventories in the widely distributed network of Data Center locations that support Facebook Data Center Logistics operations. This is a highly visible position which requires understanding of logistics processes and systems, financial cost analysis and experience with data analysis and project management.

Required Skills:

  1. Manage Logistic Leads through project assignment, resource alignment, and prioritization.

  2. Develop, implement, and monitor strategic priorities across the region in support of the long range plans and priorities set by the leadership team.

  3. Facilitate an environment that facilitates Regional Logistics Leads to conduct all day-to-day aspects of material movement, including shipping/receiving, inventory management and cycle counting of all consigned and Facebook owned inventory throughout the region.

  4. Ensure production of monthly audits of compliance to ensure meeting all inventory controls across the Region.

  5. Oversee monthly and quarterly end Data Center Asset Audit requirements to ensure appropriate financial reporting across the Region.

  6. Monitor regional inventory reconciliation processes to identify risk, manage obsolescence, and reserve appropriately.

  7. Proactively monitor system interfaces with external suppliers to identify and correct any errors that impact product movements across the Region.

  8. Manage suppliers, materials and inventory in a manner consistent with the requirements of Facebook.

  9. Manage ongoing KPI’s to measure regional performance.

  10. Work closely with all stakeholder teams across the Region to understand business requirements, implement new processes, and contribute to ongoing process improvements.

  11. Resolve regional project issues and coordinate appropriate escalation.

  12. Actively monitor the dashboards and index reports to drive improvement.

  13. Contribute to the development and implementation of our operations from ground-break of new regions/building through handoff to turnover to our Data Center Operations teams.

  14. Mentor site leads such that they can run daily operations/regional projects with minimal direction.

  15. Implement creative ideas to keep our operating costs to a minimum.

  16. Gather and analyze feedback from their regional Data Centers regarding needed changes/improvements/revamps of proposed and existing tools, processes, workflows.

  17. Partner with Environmental Health and Safety to guarantee compliance with all Federal, State, and Local safety requirements.

  18. Partner with Best Practice to monitor training of all full time and contracted staff.

  19. Maintain logistics best practices across all sites.

  20. Utilize reporting and other forms of data to gauge performance of Facebook team.

  21. Identify waste in order to streamline processes and reduce excess materials.

  22. Strive to refine and develop all logistics processes in concert with Best Practice and other analytical positions.

  23. Manage performance reviews for all personnel in assigned region.

  24. Must be able to travel 50%.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 5+ years’ experience in logistics or program management or supply chain

  2. Experience in as-is/to-be business process mapping, gap analysis, requirements elicitation and data analysis

  3. Experience in cross-functional collaboration across multiple teams

  4. Experience working independently and time management

  5. Experience with MRP/ERP and CMS software

  6. Experience in Supply Chain process and knowledge from Procure-to-Pay

  7. Experience in personnel management, staffing, and scheduling for 24/7 environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business or Supply Chain Operations or equivalent.

  2. Experience with Oracle (or similar software) MS access, Excel, data loaders, SQL.

  3. Communication skills, problem-solving skills, attention-to-detail, and interpersonal skills.
