Facebook Technology Partner - IT in Singapore

Facebook is seeking a creative, data driven, process & detail oriented Technology Partner to join the IT team in APAC. This role is fundamental to the IT team in growing and evolving the relationship with internal business functions and leaders in the region. Facebook is looking for someone who can deal with ambiguity, is self-driven and results focused. The right candidate will need to be both technical and business minded. This role is based in Singapore, supporting APAC IT initiatives and will require a high degree (up to 50%) of travel both within APAC and to California.

Required Skills:

  1. Work with internal teams business and technical teams to align / deliver against a roadmap of high impact business projects

  2. Ability to interpret high impact customer business needs and translate them into application requirements. Then influence technical teams you are a member of to implement via data that demonstrates high impact value

  3. Work with Technical Partners in other regions to influence global roadmaps

  4. Translate and simplify requirement workflows for both the customer and the software development/support teams

  5. Document process workflows and through partnership with the software development/support teams drive business impact

  6. Evangelize strategic IT development programs with your customer(s) with a view to achieving early high impact adoption

  7. Work with management to strategize and develop internal processes and business strategies

  8. Ensure that IT solutions developed in at HQ are fit for business use and are successfully adopted in the region

  9. Develop and maintain a well-coordinated internal relationship with key decision makers within your customer’s organization and with the wider IT organization

    1. Collaborate with engineers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and end user impact

    2. Use data to define metrics for the initiatives, measure current state and track attainment of key indicators driving improvement iteratively

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. BS/MS in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Stats or similar

  2. 7 - 10+ years experience in building and implementing software products for internal business functions

  3. Familiar with data tools is an advantage

  4. Proven success partnering with a variety of internal client groups is required, experience with BI and Sales teams is a benefit

  5. Demonstrated use of data to solve business problems

  6. Demonstrated leadership and ability to lead effectively through influence

  7. Previous product management or project management experience

  8. Understanding of the technical architecture of complex and highly scalable solutions

  9. Exceptional communication, presentation and client service skills

  10. Willingness to travel up to 50%
