Facebook SMB Marketing Manager – Community Engagement in Singapore

Summary:
We are looking for an experienced marketer to develop, drive and manage our marketing strategy for small businesses for the Asia Pacific region. You’ll be tasked with a range of responsibilities, all with the goal of educating and inspiring SMBs to grow their business with Facebook. In addition, this role will be responsible for managing strategic programs and marketing activities that reach and educate small businesses within local communities. This position requires experience with marketing, strong project management and communication skills. This individual will also collaborate with the greater marketing team and push the overall creativity of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a background in brand management, PR, advertising, or marketing. This position is full time and based in our Singapore office.

Required Skills:

  1. Drive Asia Pacific (APAC) small business marketing communications strategy partnering with the small business (SMB) organization in the region

  2. Create programs and marketing campaigns focused on building trust and awareness of Facebook’s small business solutions

  3. Partner with cross-functional team to develop and execute partnerships with local small business influencers and advocacy groups across Asia-Pacific

  4. Create and own SMB brand voice and roll-out through APAC channels and teams

  5. Ensure that the SMB narrative is localized and translated as needed

  6. bring the SMB narrative to life in APAC across a variety of marketing channels

  7. Develop SMB content strategy and drive deeper content development and scaled education/resources for SMBs across channels (e.g. collateral, case studies, videos)

  8. Develop messaging architecture in the region that enables the SMB team to optimize marketing touch points in a move-fast environment

  9. Represent our APAC customers with internal stakeholders including Product, Product Marketing, Policy, and Sales teams to improve our Facebook platform and tools

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 7+ years of experience in a marketing role

  2. Passion for/knowledge of SMB market and insights

  3. Experience developing marketing communications and measuring impacts

  4. Strong understanding of digital marketing

  5. Understanding of scaled channels and how to bring new ideas to market

  6. Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  7. Strong writing skills and a creative problem solver

  8. Proven track record of "moving fast" and delivering on tight deadlines

  9. Verbal and written business fluency in English
