Facebook Director of SMB, Southeast Asia in Singapore

Summary:

The SMB team contributes directly to our mission by connecting every business in the world with their customers on Facebook and then helping them grow through solutions like Pages and advertising. Facebook is looking for an experienced leader to manage our SMB sales team and take on overall revenue responsibility for Southeast Asia. Ideal candidates will have strong experience in managing scaled teams and marketing to SMBs. Success in this position requires a passion for working with partners (including product teams), strong analytical skills, a focus on client service, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment. This role will report to the Director of SMB in APAC and is located in our Singapore office.

Required Skills:

  1. Integral part of Senior Leadership team and key contributor to building the strategic direction of Facebook’s overall business in Southeast Asia

  2. Play a critical role in building, inspiring, training and managing a talented, motivated, and highly consultative sales team

  3. Build and manage 3rd party ecosystem to drive partnerships and advertiser/revenue growth (call centers, resellers, agencies)

  4. Represent Facebook at industry and external press/policy events

  5. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive revenue and advertiser growth with new and existing customers

  6. Execute projects involving industry research, strategy development and quantitative analysis

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Passion for Facebook and SMBs

  2. 10+ years of hands-on experience building and managing scaled sales teams

  3. Deep understanding of the SMB landscape in Southeast Asia (candidates must have experience working in Southeast Asia)

  4. Experience with online advertising sales

  5. Knowledge of 3rd party channels including call centers, resellers and agencies is a plus

  6. Strong analytical and strategic planning background is a plus

  7. Ability to effectively operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment

  8. Candidates must be fluent in English, fluency in Southeast Asian language is a plus
