The Facebook Developer Operations team is looking for a strong team player to support our global developer community, enforce our principles and policies through scaled review processes and ensure the best possible user experience across our platform products. In this position, you will interface with everyone from lone developers writing their first app to larger companies who have built businesses on Facebook Platform, while working closely with the platform product, marketing, partnerships and engineering team. Successful candidates for this team have a bias toward action, enjoy finding patterns amid chaos, making quick decisions, and are up for a challenge.

Required Skills:

  1. Review applications to ensure good user experiences across Facebook , Messenger & Instagram Platforms as well as Oculus, Camera Effects and other emerging developer products

  2. Provide escalation support for developers and partners across the APAC region

  3. Surface regional trends through data analysis that educate support processes and improve team efficiency

  4. Investigate possible abuse, implement enforcements, communicate with developers

  5. Analyze data to identify trends that drive scalable solutions

  6. Quantify and approach solving problems through data-driven methodology

  7. Develop and lead end-to-end project plans and ensure on-time delivery of critical platform initiatives

  8. Build and maintain strong relationships with other teams at Facebook

  9. Creatively contribute to the Platform team's overall mission

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. BA/BS degree or higher

  2. 5+ Experience in a technology company OR scaled customer support role.

  3. Avid Facebook user with a deep understanding of the Facebook product, Graph API and Facebook for Developers.

  4. Demonstrable experience in leading projects from inception to completion

  5. Strong critical thinking and deep analysis capabilities

  6. Flexibility to take on multiple tasks

  7. Strong team player while working across multiple time zones

  8. Strong quantitative and analytical abilities that support data-driven decision making

  9. Fluency in SQL preferred

  10. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
