Summary:
Facebook is seeking an experienced Strategic Partnerships Manager to develop, execute and maintain relationships with key media partners in Greater China. It requires a strategic thinker with high level of creativity as you'll be called upon to help some of the largest media companies, publishers and public figures develop innovative social experiences building on the Facebook platform. You will also work cross-functionally with colleagues in Product, Engineering, Communications, Operations, Policy, Marketing, Sales and Legal. Strong sense of prioritization and focus is required. This is a full-time role to be based in our Hong Kong office.

Required Skills:

  1. Become the primary point of contact for and maintain direct relationships with senior executives at Facebook’s key media partners in Greater China

  2. Initiate, structure, negotiate, and maintain high impact strategic content partnerships

  3. Collaborate with partners to develop innovative and high impact social integrations

  4. Track, analyse, and communicate key quantitative metrics and develop and execute against partner plans

  5. Proactively resolve business issues with partners

  6. Drive new media product adoptions by working closely with priority partners

  7. Be an internal advocate for the partners to ensure that Facebook is taking partner input into account in relevant product and policy development decisions

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. BA/BS degree with outstanding academic performance. MBA preferred

  2. Fluency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese

    1. 8+ years of relevant experience ideally in partnerships with news and media industry

    2. Deep knowledge of the media landscape in Greater China including print, TV and digital

    3. Proven track record of initiating, negotiating and successfully driving complex media or Internet deals

    4. Exceptional presentation and communication skills at all levels of management, both internally and externally

    5. Excellent project management experience, with the ability to lead and execute multiple time-sensitive, cross-functional projects

    6. Demonstrated ability to think strategically about complex issues, leading to thoughtful recommendations and action plans

    7. Passion for Facebook products and the impact of social media

    8. Rapid learner who thrives in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
