Facebook Head of Business Integrity, Greater China in Hong Kong

Facebook is seeking a senior leader to manage Business Integrity for Greater China. The Business Integrity team protects users and ensures safe connections between users and businesses. This individual will assume management responsibilities in developing our talented team members within our Greater China Business Integrity operations, as well as drive cross-functional and cross-geographic impact with our internal partners. Internal partners span everyone from global policy and legal to sales, engineering and other sub-teams within Business Integrity. Candidates will be data driven, self-motivated, and flexible to frequent changes. They are expected to think creatively about nebulous issues and are passionate about problem solving. They will have led teams and will be able to demonstrate a sustained ability to hire and develop talent. They will also be able to work successfully across teams and countries. This role is based in Hong Kong and reports to the Global Director of Business Integrity.

Required Skills:

  1. Improve policy operations by understanding local challenges and needs, build scalable solutions to address user and advertiser pain-points and identify automation opportunities as we take down malicious actors at scale

  2. Develop strong cross-functional partnerships with our global sales organization as well as other key internal stakeholders like policy, legal, engineering, data science, product management and additional operational teams at Facebook in order to implement optimal solutions to policy related problems

  3. Represent our Greater China customers with internal stakeholders including Product, Product Marketing, Policy, and Sales teams to improve our Facebook platform and tool

  4. Play an integral role as a thought leader across the global business integrity and Greater China leadership teams to drive the business forward and to deliver Business Integrity programs in market

  5. Identify local market trends, best practices and key insights in the integrity and risk landscape to drive impact to team goals and to benchmark our current practices including user experience and operational efficiency

  6. Responsible for a small local team highly interdependent with a global team

  7. Provide mentorship, guidance and career development to team members

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in an analytical field (such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or similar)

  2. 10+ years of experience in online operations/consultancy/analytics or related industries

  3. 8+ years management experience, ideally in a role involving policy, strategy or operations

  4. Experience in a policy/operations role in the Greater China region is a plus

  5. Significant experience leading and developing high performing teams

  6. Proven track record of "moving fast" and delivering on tight deadlines, experience in a fast-paced start-up environment a plus

  7. Proven ability to make sound business decisions

  8. Ability to communicate the results of analyses in a clear and effective manner

  9. Passionate about problem solving and the potential for innovative solutions that online marketing has created

  10. Experience working with global teams

  11. Verbal and written business fluency in English

  12. Knowledgeable and culturally sensitive about the advertising, commerce and marketing industries in Greater China

  13. Ability to rapidly assess, analyze and resolve complicated issues, and distill that complexity into simple and concise communication

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Fluency in Mandarin
