Summary:
Facebook is seeking a strong, experienced sales and marketing professional to help build and sell Facebook’s advertising solutions to Fortune 500 advertisers in the CPG industry. You’ll contribute to a high-caliber team in a business that is experiencing rapid and dramatic growth. We are looking for a sales professional with vertical expertise in CPG, has also demonstrated previous solid performance and work in a constantly changing environment, dealing with ambiguity, and demonstrate problem-solving leadership with limited oversight. Ideal candidates will have experience and measurable success in a sales environment as well as experience selling cross-network online marketing solutions such as integrated sponsorships and display advertising. This position is located in our Toronto office.

Required Skills:

  1. Help define Facebook's overall approach and focus in the vertical

  2. Identify and prioritize business opportunities

  3. Partner with other vertical teams on structuring and executing operational and strategic initiatives - developing work plans, synthesizing market related data, leading analysis and defining the overall business approach to Facebook’s success in the Vertical

  4. Increase the effectiveness of the team by recognizing opportunities for new approaches

  5. Develop and implement best practices for client interaction, sales and services for Facebook, including a good understanding of working with advertisers and agencies

  6. Prospect and penetrate large organizations to obtain branded advertising

  7. Develop metrics to measure the growth and performance of the sales team, and provide reports as needed

  8. Create persuasive sales presentations using market trends, case studies and Facebook network solutions

  9. Analyze campaign performance statistics and recommend optimized media solutions

    1. Exceed sales, pricing and yield goals for yourself and your team

    2. Ensure that our clients receive the highest level of sales and operational customer service

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 8+ years of Advertising, Media Sales and/or Online Advertising experience

  2. CPG vertical experience

  3. Work with C-Level employees at clients and agencies

  4. At least 5+ years managing client accounts

  5. Strong management and coaching skills

  6. Knowledge of social media, reseller channels and vertical markets a plus

  7. Ability to win the support of key stakeholders

  8. Relationships with top marketing decision makers at traditional companies and agencies

  9. Proven track record of reaching and exceeding sales revenue goals

  10. Demonstrated success as a leader of change, achieving operational excellence by introducing new performance measures, processes and systems

  11. Ability to perform well in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment

  12. Understanding of user behavior and how technology works and the ability to explain each in ordinary terms

  13. Excellent communication and presentation skills

  14. Great team player

  15. BA or BS degree or equivalent experience preferred
