Summary:
Facebook is seeking an experienced Strategic Partner Manager to develop, execute and maintain relationships with key partners in Brazil This role includes a broad range of Partners in the News segment including media companies, broadcasters, publishers and public figures (athletes, talents, journalists, entrepreneurs). The Strategic Partner Manager will help change the way people relate to the content they like and how the public content get bigger distribution. He/she will ensure that these relationships meet the strategic objectives of partners and Facebook, and serve as the primary point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders to develop a solid action plan with products and services to achieve company tangible objectives. Strong sense of prioritization and focus is required; Strategic Partner Development Manager are the face of Facebook to our external relationships and get to work with some of the world’s largest and most exciting companies/people; This position is full-time and located in our São Paulo office, will report to the LATAM Head of Media Partnerships in São Paulo.

Required Skills:

  1. Identify strategic partners and have a clear priority vision to educate them on Facebook’s platform and technology, manage its implementation and optimization

  2. Track, analyze and communicate key quantitative metrics and business trends as they relate to partner relationships

  3. Define and implement on his partners services and products aligned with company objectives

  4. Identify and execute broadcast integrations with major TV broadcasters across News and Politics

  5. Become the primary point of contact for and maintain strong direct executive relationships with Facebook’s key partners

  6. Proactively resolve business and operational issues with partners

  7. Be an internal advocate for them

  8. Educate public figures on how best to utilize Facebook and Instagram to engage with their fans

Experience:

  1. Passion for Facebook and the impact it can make for Media companies and public figures

    1. Fluent in English and Spanish

    2. BA/BS degree with outstanding academic performance. MBA preferred

    3. 10+ years experience, including 5+ years of related product management, partner or account management experience

    4. Basic technical knowledge with deep knowledge of the Facebook Platform

    5. Proven track record managing media partnerships and establishing long term relationships

    6. Knowledge of Northern Cone cultural and media landscape, including TV, Radio, print and digital with existing network of relationship

    7. Excellent project management experience, with the ability to lead and handle multiple time-sensitive, cross-functional projects

    8. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, and the ability to clarify and summarize complex issues

    9. Demonstrated ability to think strategically about complex issues, leading to thoughtful recommendations and action plans

    10. Creativity to suggest and build products/services that brings relevancy to the usage of Facebook/Instagram platform, that scales reach and impact

    11. Ability to work effectively and cross-functionally with all levels of management, both internally and externally

    12. Rapid learner who thrives in a fast-paced environment

Minimum Qualifications:
