Facebook is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant, to support our Vice President of Global Marketing Solutions. The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and executive support related tasks and must be able to work with a team as well as independently with little or no supervision. This person must be exceedingly well organized, flexible and enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting an office of diverse people and programs. The ability to interact with staff (at all levels) in a fast paced environment, often under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial to this role. Exceptionally strong communication skills, strong decision making ability and attention to detail are equally important. This position is full-time and located in New York, NY.

Required Skills:

  1. Perform administrative tasks including: complex calendar management for internal and external meetings, manage heavy domestic and international travel arrangements, and complete expense reports

  2. Travel with the executive as needed

  3. Manage team meeting schedule, structure, agenda and follow-up

  4. Handle tasks associated with various projects and programs supported by the team

  5. Project manage all logistics for team off-sites

  6. Assist in the preparation of presentations and briefs for meetings

  7. Coordinate and manage logistics and preparation for external speaking engagements

  8. Build cross-functional relationships with key partners in other departments

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 5+ years of experience providing direct administrative support to 1 or more C-level executives

  2. 5+ years of experience coordinating international and domestic travel logistics on behalf of 1 or more C-level executives

  3. 5+ years of direct calendar management and expense report management for 1 or more C-level executives

  4. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

  5. Experience working across multiple time zones

  6. Experience juggling multiple projects

  7. Experience planning off-site events

  8. Experience handling confidential information

  9. Experience with space management and planning

  10. Experience with obtaining travel visas on behalf of an executive

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. BA/BS
