Facebook is seeking a strong, experienced sales and marketing professional to help build and sell Facebook’s suite of advertising solutions to a large global advertiser in the Consumer Packaged Goods space. You’ll contribute to a high-caliber team in a business that has experienced rapid and dramatic growth. We are looking for a sales professional with CPG vertical expertise, a knack for strategic problem solving, outstanding decision-making skills as well as the ability to communicate complex strategies in the client’s language. This role will require a radically optimistic self-starter who has demonstrated previous solid performance, the ability to work in a constantly changing environment, is comfortable dealing with ambiguity, is detail-oriented and demonstrates thought leadership with limited oversight or support.

Required Skills:

  1. Create persuasive sales presentations using data, market trends, case studies and do so with little help from support teams

  2. Develop and implement best practices for client interaction, sales and services for Facebook, including a good understanding of working with advertisers and agencies

  3. Identify and prioritize business opportunities for Facebook and our family of brands, including Instagram

  4. Establish relationships with key influencers at all levels within the client + agencies in order to drive best practices and grow revenue

  5. Partner with other vertical teams + global counterparts on structuring and executing operational and strategic initiatives - developing work plans, synthesizing market related data, leading analysis and defining the overall business approach to Facebook’s success in the Vertical

  6. Increase the effectiveness of the team by recognizing opportunities for new approaches

  7. Inspire creative teams to build great work, and partner with Creative agencies to excite/educate the brands on creative considerations

  8. Analyze campaign performance statistics and recommend optimized media solutions

  9. Exceed sales, pricing and yield goals for yourself and your team

    1. Ensure that our clients receive the highest level of sales and operational customer service

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 8+ years of Marketing, Brand Advertising, Media Sales and/or Online Advertising experience

  2. 5+ years in sales and marketing in a sales/commission-based role

  3. Relationships with marketing decision makers across the industry and their agencies

  4. Proven track record of reaching and exceeding sales revenue goals

  5. Demonstrated experience as a leader of change, achieving operational excellence by introducing new performance measures, processes and systems

  6. Understanding of user behavior, how technology works and the ability to explain each term

  7. Communication and presentation skills

  8. Ability to travel as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. BA or BS degree

  2. Vertical experience

  3. Knowledge of social media + more traditional media (Television/Print)
